Requesting a Letter of Recommendation
Request for Administrator/Teacher Recommendations
This page is for families requesting letters of recommendation from T. H. Rogers teachers or administrators. Please note: Houston ISD high schools do not require letters of recommendation. These requests are typically needed for private school applications.
K–5 Families: If you are seeking an elementary (K–5) letter of recommendation, please contact your child’s specific elementary teacher directly.
Steps for Families:
- Step 1: Complete the request with each teacher by selecting the appropriate form below.
- Step 2: Supply the admissions office email address or send the request directly from the school.
- Step 3: Students may select up to four classroom teachers and one administrator of their choice to complete the recommendation. Teachers and administrators will complete the recommendation within 10 business days after receiving the school links or official school notification requesting the recommendation.
Processing Time: Please allow up to 10 business days after submitting a request form. Please submit requests at least four (4) weeks before the admissions deadline.
Elementary (K–5) – All Teachers
