T. H. Rogers PTO
PTO Spotlight preview Parent organizations such as PTOs and PTAs play a vital role in supporting the Houston Independent School District (HISD) in empowering students to become critical thinkers, visionary leaders, and active community contributors.

By fostering strong partnerships among families, educators, and school staff, these organizations create enriching educational environments that encourage student growth and success. Through volunteer engagement, fundraising, and programs that extend learning beyond the classroom, PTOs and PTAs directly contribute to HISD’s goal of preparing students for limitless opportunities in a competitive global landscape.

Although PTOs and PTAs operate independently, it is essential that they collaborate closely with school principals and adhere to district guidelines to align their activities with school goals, policies, and educational standards. Such coordination promotes clear communication, builds trust, and ensures that all initiatives and funds support student success while complementing the school’s priorities.

The T. H. Rogers PTO supports our school through volunteer service and by raising funds to address academic and enrichment needs on campus. Membership is open to all current T. H. Rogers parents.

If you have any questions, please contact the HISD Family and Community Engagement team at FACE@houstonisd.org.
